Yes, it`s a climbing novel written by Jeff Long (author of The Ascent and
winner of the Grand Prize at Banff last year) describing an ascent on El Cap
when disaster strikes – despite the bad press and difficulty / unpopularity of
climbing fiction in the past this is actually a really good read and comes
highly recommended.
