The new (July 2026) edition of the sport climbing guide VDA Sport Climbing, published by L’Eubage srl, expands, revises, and corrects the first, published almost ten years ago. In addition to those already included in the previous edition, the volume reviews over 70 new sport climbing sites in the Aosta Valley and the first outside the valley, for a total of 198 crags, divided into single- and multi-pitch routes: in short, the entire Aosta Valley to climb in a single volume.
832 color pages with descriptive texts and approach notes in Italian and English by Enrico Montrosset, maps, and technical assessments for each individual rope pitch, the result of the work and experience of two Alpine Guides, Massimo Bal and Patrick Raspo, over 100 photos, mostly by photographer Marco Spataro, and all beautifully and technically laid out by Tullio Macioce. Never before in recent years has the Aosta Valley region seen such a wide variety of climbing opportunities for all tastes, making it even more attractive to the many tourists and locals who are still unfamiliar with it. A heartfelt thanks goes to all the climbers; this guidebook is dedicated to them: without their work, this work would have been impossible.
