Batura Glacier, Karakoram Pakistan 1:60’000

This 35 mile giant Karakoram glacier passes beneath the peaks of the imposing
Batura wall and Batura ice flows with some of the Karakoram’s best mountain
scenery.

Batura, the most accessible and fourth-longest Karakoram glacier, stretches
west from KKH for 56km. the trek’s exeptional scenery includes 14 peaks higher
than 7000m and huge ice floes plummeting more than 4000m from the Batura wall
to the glacier
