La situación geográfica de las vías que te presentamos se concentra en el macizo de los Urrielles o Central de Picos de Europa, la gran mayoría en torno a la estación superior del teleférico de Fuente Dé, también denominada El Cable. Hemos elegido esta zona por la gran cantidad de vías fáciles que podemos encontrar y por la facilidad de acceso que nos permite el teleférico.

Las vías reseñadas nunca exceden del V grado por lo que nos permitirán disfrutar de la escalada sin demasiados apuros, casi siempre a través del lV grado. Todas las descripciones se acompañan de un detallado croquis, además de fotografías del comienzo de la vía y de los pasos más difíciles, así como consejos sobre la manera de afrontarlos.

Almost all routes are easily accessible from the top station of the cable car there – El Cable. The issue of access is thus significantly mitigated in the case of a corresponding undertaking.
Another selection criterion for this guide was the degree of difficulty of the routes included. These lie between the 3rd and 5th degree. The longest path measures a proud 800 meters of climbing, the average is 100 – 200m.
All the routes are described in detail. For this purpose, they have been divided into their individual lengths – among other things, information on grade, detailed description of the route, required and to be found material (mostly very manageable), alternatives to bypass difficult passages. The course of the path is also shown in color photos.
Sketches for ascent and descent were omitted in the guide, but the corresponding descriptions are sufficient – as far as one is able to speak Spanish. Here lies the crux of the guide. Without sufficient knowledge of Spanish, one cannot avoid a dictionary.
