Levante Climbs North

Levante Climbs North covers the area northwards between Alicante and Valencia,
including the popular Chulilla around Spains Costa Blanca. Like all modern
climbing guides, it is in full colour throughout including colour photo-topos
for all the crags featured along with a great selection of colour action
shots.

The guide contains easy-to-follow directions to each sector and is in Spanish,
English and French throughout…

Two local climbers, Jose Luis “Primo” Palao and Renaud Moulin just finished to
edit the awaited climbing guidebook called Levante Climbs which covers many
sport climbing areas around Valencia. The guidebook has been done with the
help of local bolters and climbers. Two volumes: Nort (Castellon and Valencia)
and South (Alicante and Murcia), 800 pages in total, 4.000 routes, 3 langages
(Englih, Spanish and French),… Some places are well-known but it’s the first
description for a lot of other areas around. It includes a selection of
climbing sectors for the bigger sectors, while for the smaller it offers full
coverage of routes. Much of the profits will be used to rebolt and bolt new
routes.

Levante Climbs presenta una gran cantidad de zonas de escalada deportiva
alrededor de Valencia. La guía ha sido realizada junto con la ayuda de
equipadores y escaladores locales. Se compone de dos libros: Norte (Castellón
y Valencia) y Sur (Alicante y Murcia), 800 páginas en total, 4.000 rutas, 3
idiomas (inglés, español y francés),… Algunos lugares son ya muy conocidos y
otros son completamente nuevos. Se recoge una selección de sectores de las
zonas más grandes mientras que para las zonas más pequeñas se trata de una
guía completa. Gran parte de los beneficios serán destinados al reequipamiento
y equipamiento de nuevas vías.
