Montserrat – Vertiente Norte

The weird and wonderful conglomerate ‹lump› of Montserrat, just 40km west of
Barcelona, presents a vast complex of stunning walls and spectacular
pinnacles, offering a unique climbing experience.

This guide covering an area on the northern side of the massif, close to the
Monastery, contains nearly 800 routes of all lengths and difficulty, from 10m
8c’s to mid-grade, multi pitch classics – excellent topos and loads of great
