The POWER OF CLIMBING, is a large format book that was produced in the 1990s about top level rock climbing and bouldering in Britain. It features stunning black and white photographs by David Atchison-Jones, and features all of the top level climbers at the time; Ben Moon, Jerry Moffatt, Simon Nadin, John Redhead, Johnny Dawes, John Dunne etc.
The book comprises of 46 interviews with the 23 leading climbers who were the first British climbers to make the 8b sport grade, and a highly interesting selection of other distinguished climbers. It is one of the most important historical books in climbing literature and is considered as a classic.
