Four stages explore the backbone of<br \/>\nthe island from north-east to west, from Cavo all the way to Patresi or<br \/>\nPomonte, with overnight stays in lovely villages where the local cuisine can<br \/>\nbe enjoyed. Elba was Napoleon\u2019s island for a short but significant period.
