\nSince the last issue of Western Cape Rock, seven years ago, where Montagu formed a section of 131 pages, with about 400 sport routes, it became apparent when doing an update, that Montagu deserved a book all of its own.<\/p>\n
There is no doubt that Montagu is one of the climbing Mecca\u2019s of South Africa and attracts climbers from all over the country and indeed the world to come climb on the multitude of crags, walls and mountains that it is famous for.<\/p>\n
This new Montagu Rock now spans over 320 pages and boasts more than 600 sport routes \u2013 single- and multi-pitch and over 100 trad climbs, from single pitch routes to 8-pitch adventures on the huge Cogman\u2019s Buttress.
