ROCK CLIMBING GUIDE FOR WESTERN TURKEY – Bati Türkiye

This rock climbing guide which is written in both Turkish and English,includes
579 routes established between 1972-2012 on the western regions of Turkey,
namely: Ballikayalar (Istanbul/Kocaeli), Geyve (Sakarya), Golpazari (Bilecik),
Pelitozu (Bilecik), Narlidere (Bursa) and Kaynaklar (Izmir).

The guide consists of 192 pages and includes all sport and traditional routes
of 6 climbing areas expanded into 5 provinces. The climbing areas explained in
the guide are elaborated under several chapters such as their history, general
information about the regions, access and logistics, climate, equipment,
warnings, first aid and hospital information, rest days, access to the
sectors, general evaluation of the sectors, route drawings, detailed route
tables, pictures, comparative difficulty grade table and some more schedules.
