Rockies Central – The Climbers Guide to the Rocky Mountains of Canada Vol 2.

This is the spectacular first (vol 2) of 4 volumes of Dave Jones› epic journey
to chronicle all the alpine climbs of the Canadian Rockies.

Rockies Central covers the ranges on either side of the Trans-Canada Highway
between Canmore and Lake Louise and those on either side of Highway 93 South
from Castle Junction. This area encompasses the Fairholme, Sawback and Slate
ranges north of the Trans-Canada Highway and the Kananaskis, Goat, Sundance
and Massive ranges south of the highway. Included are all the peaks in the
vicinity of Moraine Lake, Lake Louise and Lake O’Hara as well as the Ball,
Ottertail and Vermilion ranges on either side of Highway 93 South.

There are 560 pages of glorious photos and detailed text descriptions that
describe the great and famous routes on world-renowned mountains, and hundreds
of little-known moderate ridges up lovely peaks where climbers are rarely
seen. It is a guide for all climbers and scramblers.
