Alpine Select is a guide to mounatineering in the high ranges if southwest British Columbia, from mthe North Cascades in the south, to the Cayoosh in the north, the Tantalus in the west band the Anderson in the east. These ranges are encircled by highway 99 from Squamish to Lilloet and the trans-Canada through the Fraser Canyon and the Fraser Valley.
There are seven ranges and a collection of outliers, all with diferent characteristics – eighty peaks and moer that two-hundred and fifty climbs and scrambles are described. Collectively, they reflect a very wide range, from the easiest of scrambles to two climbs that rank among the hardest in North America.
