Climbing in Berdorf (Luxembourg)

The sandstone rocks of Berdorf are well known in Europe and very much desired
by climbers from all over the world. Bolted sport routes vary from 2+ to 8b+
witht he main concentration towards the upper grades.

In summer and even during winter when snow falls the woods around Berdorf are
fairytale-like. You can climb there all over the year. Only when it has been
raining for more than 2 days or when the temperature gets below 5°C the
climbing becomes displeasing. From the parking on it will take you a
10-minutes walk to get down to the rocks.

To climb in Berdorf you will need a permit. BUT this permit is FREE and
EVERYONE gets one. Even if there are not many controls you will still need
