Legendary cragsman and mountaineer Colin Kirkus wrote this wonderful
instruction book. It gently takes the reader through every aspect of
mountaineering, from British hill walking through rock climbing and winter
mountaineering to Alpine ascents. The latter part of Let` s Go Climbing!
describes Kirkus` own exploits in the Alps and Himalaya, including his Alpine-
style ascent on Bhagirathi III.
