A celebration of sixty years rock climbing in Glen Nevis – Jimmy Ness’s
encounter with Pinnacle Ridge in 1945 started a wave of climbing development
on the southern flank of Ben Nevis. Four climbers, Dave MacLeod (he of E11
fame), Ed Grindley, Terry Sullivan and Jimmy Ness relive the first ascents of
the classic routes at 20 year intervals and give a fascinating insight into
climbing in Scotland’s finest Glen.
