The Great Climb DVD

This is the DVD set (3 Discs) of the Great Climb event filmed live in August
of this year; this was the BBC’s first live climbing outside broadcast since
the ‚Old Man of Hoy‘ event back in 1967. Tim Emmett and Dave MacLeod attempted
a new route on Sron Uladail in Harris – the result? Over five hours of nail-
biting television, a new E9 7b and a top out seconds before the broadcast was
due to end – the DVD set includes the Director’s cut with a load of previously
unseen and unheard material.
